If parents torture & abuse their son...?

If parents torture & verbally abuse their son what steps should be taken by that son?
Suppose the son is 30 yrs old.He stays in India where laws & social conditions are way different from the western world.The son faces verbal abuse not only from his parents but also from his sis & bro-in-law.He is denied of education he is willing to pursue even at this old age of 30.They r trying to prove him mad though he is quite normal but depressed bcoz of all this.Also the parents want their daughter to inherit their property. That person went to the police but he was denied of diary.What steps (legal/social) in the Indian perspective could be taken?

I would reccommend that you talk to a counselor or a doctor, and the doctor might have connections to Social Services. But, I am not a legal mind, so I really do not know for sure. Make sure to check with a second source.

At 30 years old, the son should have the balls to stand up for himself.

If he won't then no one can help him.
