How is being a culturalist(against Obama's culture of hate) the same as being racist??

Obama could be black, white, hispanic or asian, his culture of hate is what doesnt resonate with me. Choosing a racist, anti american to be his mentor for 20 years just doesnt cut it for me.

As far as I know you can't choose your race, but you can choose your culture.

I don't know what this culture of hate is that you are refering to. There is hate everywhere and we are all exposed to hateful ideas. If you feel that Obama has spent a lot of time around hateful people (not my opinion) then I think you should consider that if he did come from such a culture he has emerged remarkably free of hatred and instead full of a positive outlook and a message of unity.

I have talked to one of his campaign staffers recent who told me of many staff phone conferences with Obama in which the candidate repeatedly counciled his workers. Many were enraged at the attackes that had been directed at Obama and were ready to attack back. Obama patiently listened and then explained that is now how they did things. He talked people in from the ledge on many occasions and convinced them to take the high road and stay with the issues of the campaing.

I think this man is incredibly centered and focused and will make an amazing leader for this country.

If you're branded as a racist, the "moral majority" will ignore your opinion. Even if its right.
