Is it justified to have almost 50% reservation for OBCs ,SCs & STs in higher education in India?

if a person is already graduate, then how can he be called educationally backward????!!? these people from the reserved category don't want to come up. they want to make a big issue of their ''caste'' and get free success from that. they don't want to work hard.
reservation has been going on for 60 years in india. how much more do they want?? aren't 60 years enough for them to come up?? after this, can't they work hard?
why do they give this all-time excuse of their ''hitorical exploitation'', even after getting easy success for 60 years??
if these people are at high posts in offices today, how can they still be called backward??

because of reservation, the people with no merit get easy success, and those who really have merit, get exploited. this is sheer injustice. it must be stopped.

no, not at all. it is the week politics of all political parties who are supporting this due to their own personal interest. The Great people who wrote out constitution, wanted and recommended resrvation onlyu for the first ten years of out indepence. Reservation, in any form, should have been done away by now.

The real population is more than 50%. The reservation should be as per the population ratio. Nothing else will justify.

No , according to my opinion reservation is actually dividing our society. there shud be some other reforms to help the the under previleged sectors of our society.

now its about 50 years that india is doing with reservation and still the backward classes are not befitted by it , so now it is the time to change the strategy for helping the backward class.

now it is the time our economy is developing rapidly and the world is looking to us with gr8 expectation. reservation will only have an adverse effect on our economy.

though i m totally against reservation but now supreme courts decision to do away the reservation for creamy layer shud be welcomed.

similarly, thre shud be reservation for economic backward class in education system for all people.
