Should there be a compulsory, uniform and free education system in India?

In what way people will be benefited when education is:

1.Compulsory [Basic education for all children]
2.Uniform [ No bias for the poor and the rich]
3. Free [ children having the right to education]

being a student myself and facing the difficulties in our education system like lack of proper schools in rural areas,no books which are suitable for both competitionsas well as board exams,I feel that a compulsary,uniform & free education system would solve many sensitive issues like mushrooming of coching instutes selling education, and that of reservation in competitive exams (which is used as a tool by politicians to fill thier vote banks).

1. ABSOLUTELY!! (Up through baccalaureate, and with Hindi and English compulsory, with bouses for skill/learning in upper math/science/engineering/city planning)

Ya i definately feel that there should be a proper uniform for schools as it brings every student on the same platform and also gives a better look. About free education i would like to say that it should be free or subsidised according to the financial status of the individal.

there definitely should be a compulsory, uniform & free education system in India. there are many untapped talent in the society, who have not been able to rise or shine due to lack of oppotunities, lack of education etc. every child should have the right to choose & decide what he or she wants & they should be given equal chance to choose that.

Uniform should be compulsory for the children. Free of education can be there if it is being taught in a good manner and benefit of the children.

Absolutely yes for your first two points. For the third one, it should be free only for the poor. English and Hindi and mother tongue should be compulsory and there should be adequate space for knowledge of the home state.

Compulsory uniform ,uniform,and free education only can develop india poor condition. Other wise Ginius from poor section never get the chance to sit by in india's development decision making confrences

Yes absolutely to all the points, i would say the govt should also provide free textbooks to poor ppl. Education will only further indias growth it can never harm it.

Absolutely. mid day meals and free education is provided in some states. with such revenue byouncy in recent years the govt can expense more on welfare.

yes. all of them getting same system and cariculam. but in cbse school had some different cariculam. they had more standard
