DWI Education Class Question?

My boyfriend got a DWI, in Eastland, TX, about 2 or 3 years ago. He was suppose to take the DWI Education Class within 180 days or his license would be suspended for 1 year.

He never took the class, and it's been over 180 days + a year. So does he still have to take the class, or can he just pay his $1,040 fees and get his license?

Thanks!

(I'll be watching this question.. so ask any question you have, if you have one)

But they said "if you don't take the class in 180 days after you were put on probation, then your license will be suspended for 1 year"

Sorry but that will be strictly up to the court. Since he was ordered to attend the classes, his driving privileges are now and probably have been suspended and he's driving illegally!

The first thing that I'd do would be to call the BMV and ask if they can tell me if my driving privileges have been suspended.
