Why should quota system b banned in higher education??

Why should quota system b banned in higher education??

It's an ineffective policy that causes more harm than doing more good.

Because it is discrimination, and we should not discriminate. Also, it teaches people that they do not have to be the best, just fit the bill for the quota being filled.

there are no quota systems anymore.

what would things be like if there never had been any quota systems? or if Jim Crow laws had been kept legal all along?
