Hi i am 13 years old and about to go to a Hunter Education Course in texas for rifles and i was just wondering

if once i completed the course and get my hunting licence will i be able to hunt by my self

I truly hope not. If your parents are responsible, they feel the same way. Hunting alone is a very dangerous proposition. What happens if you are injured while you are alone? It's not just you, it's anyone. My Uncle went hunting alone, and fell out of his tree stand. He broke his pelvis, and legs. He could not walk, and was left in the woods screaming for help for hours. Another group of hunters came along, and got him out of the woods, he's just fine now. I seriously doubt he will ever go alone again, or so he says.

It's never a good idea to hunt by yourself. This is a safety issue. I'm sure it will be explained to you in your class.

You won't want to hear this but no you can't hunt alone until your are 16.

The gun want keep you from getting snake bit and needing help.

ask your dad!

Absolutely not you must be of legal age (18) Just like haven a drivers permit while there under (16) They still have to have adult with them when driving a car.

In some counties.

Children 13-16 years of age may hunt alone only with a Texas State Permit allowing them to hunt legally by themselves. Additionally, children of any age may be required to be accompanied by an adult if they demonstrate unsafe hunting practices.
