"They" say the educated voters r voting Obama. Since when was there correlation btwn education & common sense

There is no correlation.
Some of the most racist, sexist, emotionally unstable people out there I know, have Phds, M.D.s etc.

Hillary...you said it yourself ". if you're an idiot when you enter college, chances are you'll still be an idiot when you graduate."
And no matter how much knowlege or worldy views you are provided with in college...if you're an idiot, you're an idiot.

"They" will say anything to make you feel like 'smart' people are voting for their candidate. I am very intelligent, & I have read all about his church, his upbringing, his senate voting & anything I can get my hands on, & I will STILL not vote for him. It has NOTHING to do with his color.

There is none. I work with educated Obama supporters that are as naive as 13 year olds.

He appeals to the naive and idealistic who cannot function in the real world.

I would not vote for Obama for two reasons. Number one it is rumoured that he may be a Muslim and that is the last thing that we need in this country. Number two, his damn name sounds too much like Osama.
Enough said!!!!!!

at least they're smart!

Not ALL educated people are voting for Obama. It's just some stupid poll... all polls are inherently flawed.

Umm you asked a question and then answered it yourself. Ok.... Anyway it might be common sense for a gay rights activist in San Fransisco to vote for Obama. And it's common sense for a pro gun hunter in Texas to vote for McCain, so I'm not quite sure what you're getting at.

There are a lot of correlations between education and common sense.

I do agree with you in part -- there are a lot of ignorant people who are educated. Education doesn't make you smarter ... if you're an idiot when you enter college, chances are you'll still be an idiot when you graduate. But education DOES provide people with more worldly views, more variety of thought and knowledge, and more of a knowledge of how the system works. I think that's why more educated people are the ones voting for Obama.

I would say the only thing skewing this might be that educated people would not have the kind of idiotic reasoning expressed by DemonicD. The ability of a name to RHYME with a bad person's name has absolutely NOTHING to do with that person's character or abilities. And because of this inanity the rumor about any muslim background is given weight. Which, by the way, shouldn't mean anything just as Mitt Romney's Mormonism would have no bearing on his ability to be president. Ridiculous and disgusting racism.

The only legitimate way to choose a candidate is to learn about that candidate yourself by watching debates and interviews, checking voting records and, if possible, hearing that person speak in person.

I don't know who "they" are, but the only reason to vote for Senator Obama, or Senator Clinton or Senator McCain or anyone else is because you became familiar with each one and decided that person was the best one for the job in your opinion.

While education and common sense may not go hand in hand, most people with common sense have enough of it to get themselves educated so while I'll agree with you that education doesn't guarantee common sense, you're likely to find a majority of people with common sense who are educated.

Who are "They?" Names? Addresses?

Obama's biggest turnouts have been among African-Americans who for the most-part don't have advanced degrees.

Please substantiate your "question." List the full names, addresses, phone numbers, employers, job titles, and schools attended of ten of the "the most racist, sexist, emotionally unstable people out there I know, have Phds, M.D.s etc."

You state that you know these people the least you can do is to identify them. Unless, you are lying. Put up or shut up.
