What are the diference between the Plessy v. Ferguson case and the Brown v. Board of Education.?

Very basically:

Plessy v. Ferguson held that "separate but equal" was OK - separate train cars with similar (equal) amenities for white people and black people was OK.

Brown v. Board of Education implicitly overruled this, holding that separate but equal was inherently unequal. It also ordered that school boards begin taking action to integrate schools.

Brown didn't "implicitly" overrule anything. They very explicitly said they were overruling Plessy. It's one of the few times the Supreme Court has been so candid about overturning one of their own decisions.

Plessy allowed for "separate but equal" facilities. Brown overturned Plessy and banned segregation.
