Instead of making Welfare, public housing, etc. etc., why don't we concentrate all gov't money on education? |
If people are smart, won't they be able to figure out how to get food and shelter? that's like asking government officials to stop giving themselves raises and to stop going on golf outings with taxpayers' money....it will never happen. if everyone were well educated, the government would founder... Not everyone is going to ever be smart, and the stupid ones need someway to mooch off of the smart ones to say it bluntly. Great idea.........bad plan. What were the proceeds from the lottery supposed to do? Government is a bottomless pit for money. WE actually spend 2/3 of our public money on social security payments and the other 1/3 on military expenses. |
