VT killer - should law enforcement agencies go above & beyond to find parties that provided him with the guns?

i feel the law should go out of their way on this one to find the parties that provided the Virginia Tech murderer with the guns. i also feel that if any of his friends knew of these guns, they should be held accountable for his actions. i may be wrong, but i don't think he would have the legal paperwork to even have these guns, and i just know he couldn't have said guns on campus legally.
not even a legal resident of this country, here on a visa of some sort for a free education, and this is how he repays this country and its people, this is bullsh*t. can we, as a population, not find better people to provide an education? i realize that some people just snap, but how could this have gone on for over a two hour period of time?
my deepest apologies to all those who have lost and are suffering from this insane reality.
it is people like this that are giving guns and gun owners a bad name. i firmly believe in the right to bear arms. guns don't kill people...people kill people.
