schools aren't teaching our kids math and science anymore. They're too busy reengineering society in accordance with their depraved moonbat fantasies. In the degenerate wonderland
Senate Bill 777 eliminates Education Code 212, which currently defines "sex" as "the biological condition or quality of being a male or female human being." And worse yet, SB 777 redefines the term "gender" for all schoolchildren by adding Education Code 210.7, which will read: "'Gender' means sex, and includes a person's gender identity and gender related appearance and behavior whether or not stereotypically associated with the person's assigned sex at birth." In short, this redefinition of gender states that you are what you choose to be regardless of your anatomical make-up. Boys can use the girls locker room? I was born three decades too late!

I live in California. We are currently passing petitions around to get this turkey to a vote of the people, not the dopey legislator's who dreamed it up!
Have 2 kids, both of whom said "HUH", when they found out about this bill. Neither of them wants the "other sex" to be in their bathrooms (most school bathrooms don't have stall doors that lock) or in their locker rooms. YUCK.

Thats idiotic... Kids can't even choose to smoke or drink 'till they're 18 or 21, but they can choose their gender?

Bunch of BS but totally expected from that crowd. A woman who was in many of my classes in college used to say that kids shouldnt even be given names until they are old enough to decide if they want to be a boy or a girl- very, very, very messed up people

and here i thought either it was God or evolution that made that decision. man, am i a day late or what? but, it should take care of the don't ask, don't tell in a few years.

I live in California, and it just thrills me to death that our legislature spends its time writing laws just like these.

Obviously, the author of that law had issues growing up as a kid, and we are legislating those issues away.

That's what they think government is for?

Gender is assigned at birth. Ignore the left coast thinking on the subject.

That has go to be one of the most twisted ideas I have ever seen- let alone put into law.
I knew California had real issues with reality- Hollywood, LA , San Fransicko-I doubt the entire state can be as twisted as the epicenters I have already listed.
I guess the legislature is twisted enough to deny the truth about biology.

I have to laugh at what liberalism has become. What's sad is the attempts to indoctrinate kids in schools. Now the transgendered coomunity has enough power in the democratic party to pass this bill. Amazing.

It is unfortunate that we are going through this. Regardless whether you believe in God, there is a distinction between male and female and he created them both. To walk away from the laws that govern man, and to allow new age, homosexualtiy, transger and all these things that contradict
the creation of man from God is preposterous. One is born male or female. One should not be able to change gender based on a feeling or what brainwashing they have been fed. Where are the morals of this nation.
