The Great Deception: Politicians Using Soviet Era Manipulation Techniques -
By Bill Wilson, KIN Senior Analyst
WASH鈥擬ar 5鈥擪IN--Americans are being manipulated by politicians who are using sophisticated Soviet-era techniques that create internal mental conflict by criticizing events, ideas, and political decisions, and then redirecting the way a person views that event, idea or political decision in order to relieve the internal mental conflict. It鈥檚 called "dialectic"

. The dialectic was developed by a German philosopher named George Hegel and was perfected by Karl Marx. The Soviet Union adopted this form of 鈥渂rainwashing鈥?into a national creed called 鈥淭he Soviet Theory of Knowledge.鈥? Its central theme was to make the state the center of knowledge and provision, by substituting it for religion and spirituality.

The fathers of the American public school system, Horace Mann and John Dewey, were both disciples of Marxism and established the dialectic as the standard method of teaching teachers how to teach.

The "thesis, anti-thesis and synthesis" create conflict by challenging the student鈥檚 values; the student is presented with an "alternative", and then 鈥渟ynthesizes鈥?the alternative by making it his own. After 50 years of this mental conditioning, Americans have become susceptible to the dialectic reprogramming of their values and beliefs, making them easy prey for those with alternative value agendas鈥攈omosexuality, abortion, secular humanism, common ground, feminism, environmentalism, globalism, etc.

In the 1960鈥檚, 鈥淐ritical Thinking鈥?was introduced into the American education lexicon. Critical thinking, we were told, was a way to get students to think for themselves. In reality, "Critical Thinking" is a dialectic method of criticizing American values in order to change American ideals. This technique has now attained "critical mass" in today鈥檚 society. For example, you have heard the statement, 鈥淭he Iraq war is another Vietnam. We must get out now.鈥?In reality, the Iraq war is nothing like Vietnam, but by making the statement; politicians are creating mental conflict and offering to ease that conflict by suggesting withdrawal from Iraq.

The consequences of immediate withdrawal will then give them another opportunity to criticize, and the cycle will continue.

Global warming is yet another such example and you can find more by simply turning on the news. 鈥淎gnostic Idealist鈥?politicians鈥攖hat is, those who have no ideals other than simply gaining power--are using this Soviet-era dialectic as a powerful and successful political strategy. They are targeting citizens who have been trained to ease the mental conflict created by criticism by accepting new, even unproven, unfounded, beliefs.

They are using even Biblical values to convince those with sincere religious beliefs to follow the leftist agenda. These are days of great deception. The Apostle Paul wrote in Romans 16:18, 鈥淔or they that are such, serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches they deceive the hearts of the simple."

Dialectic is both a method of demonstration and an ontological principle for Hegel. As method, it is meant to show the necessity of development, or transition, from one stage of consciousness or of history, or from one abstract category of logic, to a higher stage or category. "Once the dialectic has been separated from proof," Hegel says, "the notion of [genuinely] philosophical demonstration has been lost."

"Thus understood," Hegel writes, "the dialectical principle constitutes the life and soul of scientific progress, . . . the soul of all knowledge which is truly scientific.".
