Where do I go to find out the laws in my state regarding school ethics? |
My mother recently picked my 10 year old autstic and mentally challenged brother up from his special education school and found him in the classroom restrained and tied to a chair. She has no idea how often or how long he has been put like this but insisted that it never happen again and was extremely upset about it. (the class has one on one teacher to student ratio) The teacher wanted to hold an immediate meeting with parents and pricipal but my mom wasnt ready to face the situation quite yet without knowing her rights.
