Working for welfare -vs- Illegal Immigration?

I know this is going to sound Utopianly Idealist, but for the sake of debate, which we all on here love to do or we would not be on this site. The illegal immigrant workers( notice i claim no ethinic race) in America claim they are only taking the jobs which us Lazy good for nothing Legal or Naturalized Citizens won't do.
I have the perfect solution! All those who claim a welfare check every month must show proof of some type of employment, washing cars, mowing lawns, bagging groceries, digging ditches, cleaning up roadsides and parks. Welfare offices would distribute these jobs to these persons when they came to pick up their monthly checks. No more mailing it to the house. They would give them a card with the jobs listed and the card would need to be signed at each and every job site by an authorized individual. At the same time they would be required to further their education( schooling or job training) so that they would be able to discontinue this program within a 5 yr. period.

A freakin men!!!! We have plenty of people that would do those jobs, they're called welfare recipients!!

Looks good on paper, but how will it work? And that may include relocation - Who is going to pay for that?

My boyfriends ex wife is a total sponge, and claims that she has medical problems and she can't work. Yeah right! She had a job and quit as soon as she realized that the child support and other benefits she receives would go down. I think this is a great idea! I am all for it! Make them do something! Anything!

If and when you learn about Civics, understand your state laws and absorb some American history, you might be mature enough to post this statement.
Until then please disconnect the computer and go out and play with the other children.
With your Q&A's in private mode I can't tell if you are a child or just and Adult Fool.
Either way, go away. kkkkkkkkkkkkk
Lots more conceptual understanding.

Well, first of all, "utopian idealism" would never have crossed my mind.

Second, linking welfare and immigration is way too ambitious in this context. Linking work and welfare is complicated enough.

Now then, for your proposal. The worst I can say about it is "One size does NOT fit all."

Other than that, every point you make is valid and represents a desirable goal.

I think the biggest part of the solution needs to address the fact that living on welfare and living on minimum wage are not very financially distinguishable from each other. I think it's inhuman to suggest that, therefore, welfare $ needs to be lowered. Nor do I think that raising the minimum wage ACROSS THE BOARD is the answer.

BUT I do NOT understand who it is that are buying all the $500K + homes in my area -- and there are lots -- and what in the world they do all day to justify such enormous incomes.
There seems to be a false structure of superiority in our culture.
