How do you feel about the Surgeon Generals report on suppressing his reports? |
Dr. Richard Carmona who was Surgeon General for the Bush administration between 2002-2006 reported that he was suppressed in reporting the scientific facts about stem cell research, emergency contraception, second hand smoke, sex education, mental and global health and other important issues, by Bush appointees, for political reasons. Exactly the same way I felt about the Clinton administration doing the same thing to their SG. I don't agree with the best answer. Bill Clinton's ruling was no where close to Bush's decision to suppress this very important information. Report It The issues were too important to suppress. It in no way helped the countries desires. It was strictly a political move. Report It This is just one more of Bush's policies. "Don't Ask Don't tell" More of what those "crazy liberals" have been pointing out for years, and that conservative sheep have been denying. Just another triumph of |
