Can I make a REAL full time Career in the state of Texas in Mediation for Alternative Dispute Resolution ?

I want the details no one is giving me. Where can work? What kind of income potential will I have? Does it matter what kind of mediations I do (family, employment, etc)? What kind of training/ education do I need or want to have? How do I get a job?

I am not a lawyer and I am considering being licensed. I just wanted some info before I register for school

Are you a lawyer?

You need to be able to understand each person's legal point of view, assess the strengths and weaknesses of each of their cases and then communicate that to the parties and their lawyers.

You need to also understand the psychological motivations of the parties to help them see how a common ground and settlement can be reached.

From the questions you have asked, it does not appear to me that you are qualified. Most people who become mediators already have extensive experience in law or psychology and that experience has given them the answers to these questions.
