How can i beat a probation violation? |
On oct 17 i failed a urinalysis for my suffolk p.o. I know, STUPID. She then sent me to substance abuse in chesapeake so i had to check in with another p.o. When i arrived to the other p.o. it had been less than 30 days since i failed my test so i was honest and told her that i assumed i was still dirty. Everything was going ok. I had 4 classes to take then i would be finished. I have gone to 3. On nov 22 ,out of the blue, my suffolk p.o. called and said she was violating me. I have not taken a urine screen since i failed for her. She didnt even give me the oppurtunity to finish the class she sent me to. She said she is issuing a show of cause for me to return to court. I was 1 class away from graduating the drug education class and taking my last urine test. I guess my question is, is there anyway for me to fight this? What is the best course of action? Someone help me. Try talking to her and finding out why she decided to violate you. And even if she does finish your class anyway and take another UA that way if you have to go in front of the judge you'll be able to show him that yeah you failed a UA but looked what I've done to try and get myself back on track. Another thing you could do is check yourself into treatment. Then by the time you have to go to court again they're not likely to do anything cuz you've made steps on your own to help yourself get better. Believe me I've been through all of it. Drugs Jail Probation its sucks! good luck. u need to get a lawyer, when u go to court dont use a public protender don't be stupid "On oct 17 i failed a urinalysis for my suffolk p.o. I know, STUPID." sorry, You can get a lawyer but I think you got caught and she is going to make you pay. I am sure she is following the letter of the law. What did you do to make her so made? The best thing for you to do is to get a good lawyer if you got the money. Whatever happens, perhaps he or she can work to minimize the damage you've caused for yourself here. There is no way to fight the probation dept. |
