Do you think it a waste of time & taxpayer's money to have a trial for the guy who raped the 3yr old & took

pictures (movie) of the act & even admitted doing it?? Why not just throw him in jail till he rots with all the others just like him instead of giving money to a bunch of lawyers out to make a name for themselves @ the expense of the taxpayer who could use the money in other ways to give better education & health care for starters. What a waste----i'd be ashamed if i had to be a lawyer to make a living like that.

No, everyone deserves a trial. If you start making judgments of who deserves a trial and who does not you leave it open to corruption. Who will start making this decision. There is reasons for all of our rights.

Once you start making exceptions to an individual's right to a fair trial, based on the charge, you're heading down a very dangerous road.

No...every persons right to a trial (no matter how disgusting) is a main tenent of the American Justice system.

Once you can call witch and burn them at the stake you are throwing the entire concept of the free society out the window that so many fight and die for every day.

try him
execute him

Clearly this person is guilty, but they should still be afforded the same rights everyone gets. There should be no fear in doing this: he can't possibly be exonerated. If you needn't fear them getting off for their crimes, then you needn't fear them facing a trial and receiving the same rights.

I think they should torch the ******! To hell with the trial.. ITS ON TAPE!!! And he deserves the worst punishment ever.. i can't stand these pedophiles that end up on death row for 20 years.. burn them!

Read and understand:

Amendment V

No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a grand jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the militia, when in actual service in time of war or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.

A right to a trial is the American way. It is what separates us from a lot of other places on this earth.

It might be a waste of taxpayer's money, but it's also what makes us America. You have to have a fair trial, or a fair shake at the system, no matter how stacked the evidence is. I'm sure he'll end up pleading it out, just to avoid a trial and possibly get a lighter sentence, but to just skip the trial would make us as bad as he is.

Under our system of justice, everyone, and I do mean everyone, has the right to a trial by jury, regardless of the crime, regardless of the proof. If you take away one man's rights, you take away everyone's rights.
