Universal Health Care:?

I agree everyone should have access to healthcare.

Have any of the politicians addressed the need for educated professionals, the level of education required for the profession, as well as the quality of healthcare available should the number of necessary caregivers not be met by the time all people can access care on a regular basis.

Have the politicians considered the recommendations of the American Medical Assocation, to maintain the highest quality of care within our caregiving system.

Health care should be none of the government's business. Nobody should be forced to get health care they don't want or be told that they can't get care they want and have a willing provider for, as currently happens with the government meddling. Furthermore, nobody should be forced to pay for anyone else's medical care. Voluntarily helping others is admirable. Forcing other people to help the less fortunate through your vote is stealing by using the government as an intermediary. Let the market work.

American politicians haven't. Most Governments in other modernized countries already have by now, though.

most, but not all, of our healthcare problems have been brought on by greed. greedy companies, greedy hospitals, greedy pharmaceuticals, greedy doctors, greedy insurance companies and greedy politicians that won't speak up on be half of american citizens because of fear they won't receive large donations for election or re-election. to the few who are not greedy, thank you.

As you point out, there are many facets to universal health care that might not make it possible to just jump into without several years of preparation. I don't think it will pass right away. I am hoping the congress has a lot of hearings about everything that may effect it before it is put into place if it ever is. I hope there are studies done to determine why it is so expensive in the first place.
