I don't think there are any types of women who are more likely to report a sex crime.

I think that in the past, sexual assault and rape was very much a taboo topic, and the things that are now seen as myths today, were very much believed.

I guess women who are in supportive families, have supportive networks, and are well educated are more likely to report it than others, but no statistics would be valid enough - as so many people still keep quiet about it.

It's really sad that more people don't speak up about it.

brave women! It is a very difficult process to go through emotionally. Every woman who has been abused or a victim of a sex crime should certainly report it but there have been dishonest people in the past who have been found to be lying about such incidents and have made it very difficult for the people who are genuine!
