How can laws that are based upon the assumption that an illegal act will occur in the future be legal or just? |
Cases in point The presumption of assumption is not entirely accurate. How does the law assume these some of these things? You cannot get arrested for having a small-talk converstion with a prostitute. You can only be arrested for offering money for sexual favors. There's no assumptions there. Just for info, did you happen to see the movie "Minority Report"? If not, better do it and soon. Our society doesn't tolerate drugs, alcohol and anything (other than cell phones for the most part) that interfers with driving a vehicle. In some cases that vehicle is also noted as a "weapon". When you are pulled over for anything, the cops have a right to do a visual check of your car WITHOUT your permission - and if they have probable cause, they will search your auto - they don't even need a warrant to do it because your car is "highly moveable". Cops run the show for the most part - at least for what you did or are doing. The sex business??? It sounds like one doesn't have respect for anything. The stuff you mention - better do it at home! IF a copper saw your buddy drinking when you were driving the car he wouldn't be much of a copper if he didn't pull you over & breathalise you. |
