If you saw a drunk driver was driving erratically, and its only a mater of time before he hits someone...?

You felt he might hit someone, so you shot him. Could you plead self defense, or would you be guilty of murder?

Murder.

How would you know he's drunk? Maybe he's falling asleep.

In any event, unless you're in eminent danger of losing your life (seeing someone doing something that might be dangerous is not), you cannot use self-defense as a defense.

I think you would be guilty of murder. Reasoning being he had not broken a Law at the time you had shot him that would warrent you to be on a plea of manslaughter. Yes he might have hit someone & killed someone but he hadn't. Therefore you were killing someone on your pre-mediated assumption on a crime he had not committed i.e. murder. Also you would be on charges of sexism as the person in question hyperthetocially should be in the you state i.e. they, them. He makes it a male that is a wrongfull aqusation that only men drink & drive. It is an unfair bias towards men.

If you like the idea of this debate, watch Minority Report with Tom Cruise it discuss this such circumstance in a Si Fi film.

You would be guilty of murder.

Better yet, use your Cell and Report him (Car, License plate) to the nearest Police Station!

Murderrr dude.
