I need help!!!drunk driving, carwreck, Liability insurance My husbend is dui driver? |
my husbend was in a wreck he blew a .229 he left the seane they said he ran from the police his vehicle is toatled i dont know any thing about they man he hit but i do know he did not have a license he has insurance. it is his 1st offense.tell me what he is looking at and what can i do to help him tell me what i need too know. please dont critesize i need help!!! you need a lawyer. this experience will probably cost you and your husband $5000-$10000. find a way to get that much money, you'll need it. Try to find a lawyer for this. Your husband shall have a driver's license and the insurance at the same time by law. I don't know any good answer to this. I am sorry I couldn't help you. Try farmers insurance, Send him to treatment and a doctor. maybe he needs meds. It will still cost you lots of money for the fine. For better or for worse, girl. That is what you are looking at. Get him into rehab fast... though the court will probably demand it anyway. Get him in there. You husband is in some serious trouble. First he was driving drunk and almost did it in a comatose fashion.....229 is seriously intoxicated. Call a lawyer. I don't mean that as we can't help. I literally mean GET a lawyer. He's gonna need it. Man, what a pickle. Your husband was wrong for many reasons. But to answer your question, most DUIs seem to get off scottfree. Not much sentence, slap on the wrist. Now since he ran from the scene he will be treated more harshly. I think his best bet is to come clean admit his guilt, go to court, apologize, admit guilt and offer to accept any prudent punishment as he deserves it. I think most judges will find honesty and sincerity the best thing. He may get off with a lighter sentence. That is what I think. Fighting it may just lead to a harsher sentence. Get a lawyer. Will be expensive, but it definitely sounds like you need it. Well he's obviously a alcholholic..... That high of an alcohol level, a crash with injuries and fleeing the scene can mean jail time. well he will go to jail for running away from the scene your husband is in big trouble 229 is realy high and the court system knows this i hate to say only a heavydrinker can drink to a 229 and his fines will be higher and lose his license will be suspended longer he schould go get help for his drinking it will look better when he goes to court u will lose your insurance also plus hit and run is very serious get him help for his drinking you both will be happier im not being smart i went through this a couple times your husband has drove drunk many times he just only got caught once the second time is just around the corner i know believe me i hoped i help u he will also get a big fine |
