Should drunk driving be legal? |
If a woman can kill another human being in her womb, I should allowed to drive while drunk, even if I kill someone. The argument really is more about when does life actually begin. From the decision of Roe v. Wade: "We need not resolve the difficult question of when life begins. When those trained in the respective disciplines of medicine, philosophy, and theology are unable to arrive at any consensus, the judiciary, at this point in the development of man's knowledge, is not in a position to speculate as to the answer." Basically, it says that if the people who are suppose to be "experts" on this subject can't all agree, why should the courts decide. That is the base of argument around the country. you pointed out that the women KILL the babies. Killing IS murder. Murder is illeagal. so why isn't abortion? it should be. Drunk driving should not be leagal. My friend was killed by a drunk driver. Drunk Driving is dangerous not only to the people who have to drive arounf it, but to the intoxinated driver. Abortion kills millions. Durnk driving may not kill as many people, but why lose more lives? no totally different u would be killing someone who already has a life loved ones family who knows them very well friends everything children that need their mommy of daddy a fetus in a womb has no friends its parents dont kno it its uncle cant say its sad they died they had such a great personality its totally different plus my mom and my closest uncle died from drunk driving and we all miss them so much my grandmother had a few abortions and we dont miss them because we never knew them its totally different i think ur just p*ssed about something did u get a dui recently or did someone u kno have an abortion i dont think ur looking at this the right way dont be mad at someone else for ur actions if that is the case Sure... are you out of your mind no. and neither should abortion. its the bring in the LIFE of a child not a dam choice. Drunk driving is illegal because it has the potential to affect more lives than your own. Consider the cost of rescue services. the dangers they face, the lives you could destroy, not to mention your own. Umm, this is an interesting approach. Drunk driving is definitely wrong. But abortion is definitely wrong also. Drunk driving is endangering yourself and innocent victims. Abortion is killing an innocent child that can't speak for itself yet. But just because one wrong is legal it doesn't mean another one should be also. Shouldn't we try to move forward into making abortion illegal instead of making another harmful thing legal. That just seems silly. Instead of rallying to drive drunk, rally against abortion. Try to make a positive difference. Because a foetus before the quickening is no more human than sperm or an egg in the eyes of the law. Both of those die every month anyway. Once the baby's heart beats and in has brain function, you can no longer have an abortion as it is in fact technically a living entity. Thank God morons like you aren't allowed to make medical decisions for other people. No those aren't the least bit similar. |
