Penalties for Drunk Driving and Manslaughter?

My best friend was killed last week..she was walking on the side of the road and a drunk driver plowed over her and hit her. The driver kept going.
They found the driver crashed into a telephone pole.
This is the drivers 2nd DUI offense.
She is supposed to be charged with manslaughter, felony hit and run, 2nd DUI offence, and refusal for blood work or breathalizer. She is being held at a detention center and without bail.

The court hearing is next month.

What is the least, & the most she could get for killing my friend?
Im really curious, and worried.. I feel that the courts don't take drunk driving serious enough..if this is the 2nd time the woman has had an offense.

she could be in jail for 5 years or up to 30 or 40. i'm pretty sure it's involuntary manslaughter which is alot less bad even though she was drunk.

5-10 in prison.
