Divorce Visitation?

I am a 15 year old a couple weeks from 16. I live in Colorado. My parents are getting divorced. My dad wants the visitation to be set for every other week. There is no way in HELL I am going to stay with him that much- I want to stay with my mom almost all the time. At my age, can I have my say in where i want to stay or will the court dismiss my opinion?

The only state in the U.S. which gives a child the legal standing to determine with which parent to live is Georgia and the age is 14.

Even georgia does not allow a child to determine visitation guidelines. If the court determines that you will visit every other week and you do not, YOUR MOTHER will be held in contempt.

If she does not follow the court order enough times, you will find yourself LIVING with pops.

I suggest an attitude adjustment quickly before your mouth causes your mother legal harm.
