Divorce Visitation? |
I am a 15 year old a couple weeks from 16. I live in Colorado. My parents are getting divorced. My dad wants the visitation to be set for every other week. There is no way in HELL I am going to stay with him that much- I want to stay with my mom almost all the time. At my age, can I have my say in where i want to stay or will the court dismiss my opinion? The only state in the U.S. which gives a child the legal standing to determine with which parent to live is Georgia and the age is 14. The court will listen to you ,but the court will also listen to your Dad |
