Where do go to report VA disability compensation fraud?

I know a person that has admitted faking PTSD in order to get 100% disability compensation. Who do I report this to?

The VA carefully evaluates each compensation claim on a case by case and symptom by symptom basis. Unless this person is severely mentally incapacitated and unable to live without assistance, there is no chance that 100% disability was awarded to them for PTSD. If they ARE indeed rated at 100%, there are most certainly other underlying service related injuries that combine for that rating. 30% is a more common rating for PTSD - But if you add in factors like back problems, symptoms from Traumatic Brain Injury, etc., a rating can easily increase to 60 or 80 percent.

The VA also re-evaluates compensation claims and denies existing cases if the veteran does not show for the exam. If the person you speak of really did 'fake' PTSD, it will show then.

Until that time, I would just not worry about it. This veterans case has been handled by the VA, and they are responsible for evaluating compensation claims.

If you have evidence, report it to the VA. If all you have is a verbal statement, forget it.
