Does california have disability benifits? |
for people becoming a citizen that can,t work becuase of disabilitys No. To qualify for California disability, you have to have a qualifying work history in California. The benefits are only short-term anyway. Ca. has disability benefits for those who have paid into it, and it takes about 6 years to get that. there is a temporary disability, for a short time, but again you have had to pay into it, it is taken out of your paycheck and sent to a special fund. I think they had one of the best disability plans in the US but the state has gone bankrupt so good luck. Calif must have every kind of entitlement their possibly is... |
