If you are drawing umenployment and get aproved for disability will the mone have to be paid back?

if you are drawing umenployment and get approved for social security disability will you have to pay back the money to social security in alabama/

Not sure about unemployment. But,when I was waiting on my disability to be approved,I was on welfare. When I was approved and got my back pay,I had to pay welfare back every penny they gave me. Reason was,since my back pay included the time I was on welfare,I couldn't be paid twice,the back pay and the welfare check. Check with unemployment before you get your back pay just in case you do have to pay it back.

I am not sure,but I would think if you were put on disability after being on unemployment the answer would be no. interesting though.

You will not have to pay it back IF you notify unemployment. Your unemployment checks will stop, as to be on unemployment you have to be looking for a job and SSD means you are saying you can not work. If you do not notify and collect both checks, not only will you have to pay the money back the city can charge you with fraud and take both of them away
