How can you find out if someone is receiving disability benfits?

My ex husband claims I am supposed to get the back child support he owes me when his disability goes through, but I believe it has already started. Is there anyway to find out.?

You probably cannot get access to this information. However, if you report him for not paying child support, the government will surely find out for you.

I`m afraid you are victim of the classic, "ex-husband lying" routine. ssi nor disability pays-out to an ex or for child support. My guess is that he has already been getting his checks or direct deposit. What you SHOULD ask him is how much he got on his first check which is usually a big sum. Anywhere fro 900 to 2500$ Let me tell you Why I know this. 3 older sisters work for Social Security and one sister is a manager and investigator for Social Sec.

If you are owed child support then get the courts involved. Let them sort it out. (It does sound like he's not telling the truth, but maybe that's just my bias against deadbeat dads on disability.)

by law your children suppose to get benfits too. I think its like $600 a month
