I took a blood test for my dui, will i know the results before i have to plea not guilty/guilty?

And what is the maximum i'll be charged with if i plea not guilty and am found guilty

california, and thanks

Yes, you will have the results. The penalty depends on your state and whether or not this is your first DUI. Plead not guilty and make them prove it. Stop drinking and driving, the life you save may be my own.

If you are under 21 but still under legal limit you are still in trouble. You can't have any alcohol in your system. Now if you are over 21, they will press charges if you are over the limit so you will know right then if you failed. In some states could get you for a lesser charge even if you are below the limit (.05-.07). Point is, they aren't going to take you to court if you didn't have any alcohol in your system.

What your sentence will be depends on a lot of factors. Any previous convictions for DUI, the amount of your BAC...etc. In CA, first time offenders could get 6 months in jail, $1800 in fines, and other stuff (classes, community service, license suspended, etc.). Depending on the State, if your under 21, you are in a world of hurt.

Whatever you pay, whatever the punishment, pay it with the full understanding that you got off lucky...you could of killed someone due to your stupidity...Grow Up! Do the right thing...Always. Nothing is worth it.

My friend when through this in the southwest, I don't think he knew the results before his arraignment.

Penaltys vary from state to state so it will be hard to determine maximum penaltys without knowing what state.

. You will get a slap on the wrist. The jails are full. Be respectful and look at the judge when you speak.
Yes, you get the results before you plead.

Yes you can. The servers permit is just to teach you how to determine if a person has had too much to drink so you can cut them off. It is illegal to keep serving a person who is drunk.
