Second DUI jail time?

Would it be necessary to hire a lawyer if we have a second DUI in california since we are gonna have to serve 3 months in jail anyways? I think its 3 month.. not sure...

Even though DUI is never punished severely enough in the USA you still have rights. If you don't know the in's and out's of DUI law, it's not the Judges responsibility to teach you. There are technical terms and legal jargon that could work against you if you say the wrong things..
I'd like to see those who are dumb enough t get 2 DUI's sit in jail for a year and then take their license away for life.
But luckily for you, a good lawyer could possibly even get you off scott free...get a lawyer and please start making more responsible decisions when my family's lives are at stake.
