One DUI conviction New York State, Two in New Jersey, shouldn't a person only lose his liscense for two years? ONLY isn't the word id use. MINIMUM sounds better to me. a person who habitually drives while intoxicated needs to lose it for longer i think. Didn't learn the first time OR the second time.....if you cant take the punishment then don't drink and drive. think of it this way. If you had killed someone when you decided to get behind that wheel then you'd be in prison. agree You need a shrink. To help you not to drink. Keep us alive and never ever drive. You are a "menace", Dennis. You have 3 so far, maybe you should look in the mirror and see that you have a problem. I think a 5 to 10 yr lose is in order. No. shouldn't the person know to stop drinking and driving? A drunk driver should have their license taken away. I lost a brother due to a drunk driver a few years ago. I'm not convinced a person with a single DUI should ever be allowed to drive again. How far apart are the convictions? |
