What is the criminal punishment for arson?

Last night in the middle of the night someone set my Dad's bar on fire. It is completley burnt to the ground. In the USA and Canada, what are the usual punishment for arson?

First of all, it depends on the state that it happened in, also the severity if the fire and the number off injury's that were sustained due to the fire.

It ought to be a Custodial sentence and an order to Make Restitution by adequate compensation by seizure of the Criminals assets acquired in the past of Future.
The Charge should be " Endangering Life and criminal damage to property"

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arson this should help
