How does a criminal background check work?

If a person adjusts status in any given country and they run a background check on that person, will his record from any other country show?

It is highly unlikely that a criminal record from a country outside of where you are living will be determined during the course of a regular background check. If the company wishes, they can ask the background screening company to search the international country where you have lived and conduct a criminal background check there as well.

When you have clean record. They'll smear dirt on it.
