How determinant is social class in the admin of criminal procedure & the processing of US criminal defendants?

OHHH it is very determinant. If you have no money you get no justice in this country and don't you believe any different. From what I have seen they arrest poor blacks and put them in jail simply because they can not afford a high powered attorney, why do you think there are so many young black men in jail. That is what our jails are full of young black males and it is because they can not afford proper legal representation. Another group of people that get treated badly by the courts are those with mental illnesses. ITS PATHETIC.

Depends, I'd like to tell you it doesn't make a difference, but that is only in some places, in others it could just be who you know and how much influence you have over them. Also, the lawyer you choose could be better depending on your social class, whether it be a public defender or Johnny Cochran.

Basically this question is unanswerable, just try and make sure you know the history of the jurors and the judge especially, and there is always the chance to appeal to a higher court, so if you feel you have been wronged based on your social class you can always do that.
