How is the declaring of who is a war criminal and deciding who to bring to justice a farce...considering??

I would like to point out to those answering to please carefully look at my question. Your answers are coming from within you and nothing that I specifically say.

Once again, my only comment is a general one...that bringing war criminals to justice is a farce. I will let your own consciences force you to give certain "revealing" answers as to what is going on inside your hearts.

The history is always written by the victors, and they always justify their means and goals by saying the losers are evil criminals. That's a farce, and the sad thing is people are buying it.

If I understand your question, since the laws relating to war crimes have not been uniformly applied then this part of international law is a joke? As you might know, international law has not been as fully developed as national laws. Much remains to be done in this area. Still we should not give up on the application of international laws.

However I would like show you that other conclusions can be just as correct. United States is known to have a high murder rate compared to other developed countries such as Great Britain and Japan. United States has good laws, independent courts and a well-trained police force. Can we conclude that murder laws and the justice system for the USA are a joke? No it just means that this social problem is not a high priority in the USA.

Likewise, for the countries that are the most influential in the international system, an independent system to prosecute war crimes is not a high priority. The influential countries just want to prosecute war crimes of those they oppose.

Now tell me how my answer reveals what is going on in my heart or head!

I agree. We've been told several times about the war crimes that have been committed by the US government, and still nothing has been done about it. There are many farces in the US government, the Supreme Court being one of them.
