Question about FBI criminal background checks? |
I was arrested when I was 16. I was convicted of a misdemeanor for criminal mischief in New York state. I think my record was sealed but what will the FBI find if they look? I want to apply to a radiologic technology program but you can't get in if you have a misdemeanor and you have to submit an FBI criminal background check. Will I be disqualified for my record? An FBI criminal record usually shows all convictions since they are a state agency. However, since you were a minor at the time, I do not think it will show up. Well, you can try and see what happens! Good Luck! Bye! If you were charged as a minor it will not show up. |
