Criminal background want to major in accountant? |
I have a criminal record, currently i have been filing an expungement. and everything going pretty well. I wanted to study accountant but i was wondering if my record would still affect me if i start applying for accountant position?? even if my record have been expunge but still it will show that i have been convicted and my case have been dismissed. so my question is, do you guy think i would have any chance getting a job? thanks Thanks for your input... It really depends upon what the conviction was for. If it was for theft, stealing money, bank robbery...anything financial, than you are going to have a harder time trying to get an accounting position, but please remember you can always do work as a solo accountant with your own company. |
