Criminal background? |
does anyone know where i can get a free criminal background check? No such thing as free, but there is cheap. Contact the county courthouse where the person lives and ask for the Clerk of the District (Superior) Court's Office. They will charge you a fee to perform a criminal background check. You will need the person's legal name, date of birth, and possibly more info (the more info the better). They will not do anything or give you any information without payment. Be sure that the background check is for the entire state and not just the county. Warning: common names like Robert Jones will come up with multiple hits; you will need as many details as possible so they can make sure they give you the correct info. Nothing is going to be comprehensive or thorough that is free. However, most of the time, it only applies to cases that have gone to court or have had paperwork filed. |
