Consumer rights ...please help? |
i bought my phone ( sony Ericsson's w580i) in a 3g shop in dublin in march i sent it away 5 times to be repaired and its still not working properly. were do i stand on my right. Am i untitled to a replacement or a refund...please help they are sending me back and forth from people on the pone and I'm not getting any were Every new product sold in the USA comes with an automatic warranty that it will operate as advertised. Not only would it be fraud to sell something intentionally that doesn't work as advertised, and a breach of contract, the company must repair or replace it for free, and failing that, must refund your money. There are state and federal warranty laws. Sorry, you are just out of luck. When something doesnt work, there are never any guarantees unless it comes with a warranty. But even then, all you can do is keep sending it back to the company to have it repaired. |
