What do you think of the new law in CA against transfats?

They will all be banned. Doesn't that seem a bit extreme? How about letting consumers know which foods have them and then let the consumer decide? Or does "Big Gov't" know better than us "regular folks"? Any intelligent thoughts on the subject?

The monster of Socialism marches forward!

Extreme? You bet it's extreme. When the left calls the right extreme it's simply a head-fake; it's the left that's extreme. But, hey, it's for our own good, right; so, it must be okay!

As for "...let the consumer decide": that's the LAST THING the extremists want. You see, they KNOW what's best for you and if you won't do it for yourself then they'll either do it for you or MAKE YOU do it yourself. Like I said: extremists. But, hey, it's for our own good, right; so, it must be okay!

I don't know if any of the preceding seems intelligent or not but I consider it reality.

Fascism at its American finest
Oops I should have said United Socialist States of America the USSA
Look up California's AB 1634 if you want to see a bill that has been rewritten so many times it is a joke. Now it is completely UN Constitutional. NO dues process... but that was the only way the Fascist could get it through appropriations.

Since the government foots most of the medical bills when they clog up all those arteries--I think they have the right. Besides, you can't just tell people info & have them decide--they do it anyway & then sue (look at those people who sued fast food for making them fat-duh!).

Anyway, they are not good for you, so we should be free of them.

You have to understand, if the govt gave us credit for being intelligent enough to take care of ourselves and think for outselves, we wouldn;t need government, would we???

What would happen to all the excess govt employees and career politicians.??

it's okay, but the government has other ways to kill you, prescription & illegal drugs, cigarettes, liquor, pesticides sprayed on fruits and vegetables, tainted tomatoes, soda, hormone laced chicken and dairy products.....

Great!
