Is this illegal ( ebay question )

my dad made a lot of money from ebay and im thinking of doing this, the way he did it was to go to a 99p store and buy a lot of items, than went back home and sold them to consumers on ebay he made a lot from theese items.

is that illegal?

yes but surely the customers wont realise its from a 99p store if it looks expensive?

No, its not illegal, people sell used underwear on ebay and people buy it. Not surprised at anything being sold on ebay.

Nothing illegal provided you do not misrepresent them as something they are not. If people want to assume that they are higher quality than they are then that is their problem.

As far as I know, free enterprise is alive and well in America. It may not be illegal, but it might be considered unethical. Depends on what kind of conscience you have.

No, it's not illegal, but you'll get creamed if you try it again.

ebay customers are a lot smarter now.

its not illegal, that's the way big stores do it...buy in bulk at cheaper price, then sell individually at a higher price
