What is the procedure of filing a complaint in consumer court ?

Hi I am from mumbai, i want to file a complaint in consumer court regarding an electronics shop. Can anyone tell me what is the exact procedure and what all things i will require.
Also can anyone post consumer court helpline number for mumbai .

Go to the court house (any) near you and enquire.

It is possibly listed as small claim or small causes court, they are magistrate court. They are all our Bombay at least one in each district.

But you my be faced with a lawyer representing the other party in the court, in that case, chances of your winning are rare to non.

So find a lawyer and then take the advice from him and do as you please.

go to the district consumer court there you will get a complaint form fill it and mention wether you want a public procecutor.

hi..just write a compliant addressing the consumer court of your district....narrating the entire story along with the bill , compliant or representation... whatever u have to support your claim as annexures .... alongwith an affidavit to support your compliant...

Make application on any paper. Attach copy of proofs, if any. Pay prescribed fee. Submit all in person. Court will give you date and will sent copy of your letter to electronic dealer for settlement. No helpline.
