Open an escrow to buy a machine in Miami Florida?

I want to purchase a road construction machine from a seller in Miami florida..we are talking about 80,000$.i want to know if i can open an escrow ,deposit the money in that escrow account and set conditions which the seller will have to meet ,and gets his money when he has met those conditions. Is there something like that available,is it legal and can i do it ,or is there another alternative available

Yes there is, it's a common practice.

The easiest way is to just use a lawyer. You give the lawyer the money, the seller gives him the title, and when all sales conditions are met, the lawyer completes the deal.

For an $80,000 sale, don't cut corners!
