The Homeland Security Department is waiving more than two dozen environmental and other laws to speed up fence construction on the southern border. Now 14 members of the current democratic majority, including Homeland Security Committee Chairman Bennie Thompson, are joining environmental groups and asking the Supreme Court to force homeland security to obey the laws.

absolutely, positively and dang nab it for sure. I'm not prejudice, just like foriegn people that want a good life here to do it correctly like everyone else, and stop freeloading and demanding that they have rights like the law abiding citizens that live here legally. Send back the illegals and defend the rights of the legal citizens that live here. IT IS THE RIGHT THING TO DO!!!!!!!

Environmental concers? Its' a friggin fence. Build it and then count the in country immigrants, get them on a path to citizenship and if they do not want such, export them back to the country of origin.

Have you guys been watching CBS has had a special segment on their nightly news called "immigration nation" which has been highlighting just how much these people cost us, and tonite it featured the fence - no wonder they don't want it - it is just a regular fence - they showed illegals putting up ladders to get over it right on surveillance! What happened to RAZOR WIRE! Three rows of that beautiful material or maybe electric wire - and lastly, booby trap the land! Let the coyotes (real) sort out the body parts!

Definitely want that fence.....we already are being overrun by the illegals in Texas and Arizona....it will eventually ruin our country, if something is not done soon to stop this ridiculous influx of aliens...most of whom end up collecting government benefits (paid by guess who? the taxpayers) and the more kids they produce, the more money they get, plus in some states, they get free medical insurance as well, while hardworking, American -born citizens who need benefits for disability or other circumstances, or need insurance, get turned down.
It is insane. Yes, put up the d***n fence, and keep it guarded 24/7!
