It it against the constitutional right to privacy, for a newspaper to publicize a criminal suspects home address? The 4th Amendment's right to privacy only applies to certain state actions. A newspaper is not an arm of the state. No, unless the suspect is a juvenile offender, and then in most all states, juvenile cases are confidential. No, your home address is not private information. THERE IS NO DIRECT CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT TO PRIVACY...AND AS SUCH INFO IS PUBLIC,IT IS LEGAL |
