What information can a employer see in a background check? |
It also seems like it takes them for ever to get back to you after the interview. With computers, a background check should ony take 5 minutes. A background check can show anything thats a public record. Such as marriages, arrests, convictions, addresses, birthdays, ect. Background Checks usually take anywhere from 2-3 business days to be completed, but sometimes longer depending on the depth of the check. Most background checks have a felony and misdemeanor check, along with a social security trace. Depending upon the company and the different services, a report can also contain a sexual offender check, motor vehicle report, education and employment verification, professional licence verification, reference checks and others. They can see if you've ever been convicted of a crime, past marriages, past addresses...that's all I know.. |
