Who do I call If my computer gets hacked? |
I play a online game and have been hacked before. The game I play allows you to look up previous IP adresses. So If I get hacked, I have there IP. It's not a 911 emergancy so I shouldn't call 911. But is there a place to call? It's illeagle and this is a role playing game. Last time I got hacked I maybe put in 100 hours of game play. (no I'm not lowlife been playing for 6 months). Nothing serious happened out of the hack. You're best bet is to contact a computer expert like Geek Squad in order to make sure that your computer is free of any trojans and then get a good virus and spyware protector such as mcafee.
